Introduction
The Internationalisation Office of the School of Medicine is the structure responsible for promoting, supporting and consolidating the School’s international dimension, ensuring that students, teaching staff, researchers and administrative staff fully benefit from the learning, mobility and global cooperation opportunities offered by the University of Minho.
Inspired by a vision of teaching and research with a strong international focus, the Internationalisation Office aims to foster a truly global academic environment, open to knowledge sharing, intercultural dialogue, and the mobility of people and ideas.
The Office provides personalised support to all members of the School of Medicine community who wish to undertake a mobility period (outgoing) for study/internship purposes (students and recent graduates), teaching or training (teaching and non-teaching staff), as well as to those who choose the School of Medicine as their academic destination (incoming).
Mobility procedures follow the rules established by the University of Minho and are managed in coordination with the Internationalisation Support Services Unit (USAI).
