Orthopedic Trauma’s classical approach had an important change of its paradigm over the last decades, based on minimally invasive surgery with early functional rehabilitation. On the other hand, the exponential increase in sports activities, not only as leisure but also as a health promoting factor, has led to a demand of know-how on the clinical
approach of Sports Medicine, even outside the field of Orthopedic Specialty. Furthermore, Pediatric Trauma, by means of its specificities and diagnostic issues as well as by its future repercussions, justifies a furrow systemic approach. The need for specific differentiation and update knowledge by means of Continued Medical Education makes this Hands-On Course essential for those somehow involved on treating this type of lesions.
