The School of Medicine of the University of Minho will host the fourth edition of the Capsule Endoscopy Training Program, from October 2nd to 4th, 2019. This course is targeted to Gastroenterology trainees and seniors who aim to learn or upskill their knowledge on capsule endoscopy.
The Faculty is granted by the Gastroenterology Department of Hospital da Senhora da Oliveira, Guimarães – Portugal, an approved Training Centre of the European Board of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, with a vast clinical, investigational and educational experience on the field of capsule endoscopy.
Following the success of the previous editions, this course will cover the main technical and clinical aspects of small bowel and colon capsule endoscopy, including state-of-the-art lectures, technology updates, new tips and tricks on reading technique and new software developments, supported on individual workstations for hands-on training.
This course does not provide credentials for the exercise of medicine for those without appropriate training, recognition and registered at the "Ordem dos Médicos" or international equivalent institutions.
