The School of Medicine of the University of Minho will host the fifth edition of the Capsule Endoscopy Training Program, from September 16th to 18th, 2020. This is a dedicated course targeted to Gastroenterology trainees and seniors aiming to learn or upskill their knowledge on capsule endoscopy.
The Faculty is granted by the Gastroenterology Department of
Hospital da Senhora da Oliveira, Guimarães – Portugal, an approved Training Centre of the European Board of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, with a vast clinical, investigational and educational experience on the field of capsule endoscopy.
The course will cover the main technical and clinical aspects of small bowel and colon capsule endoscopy, including state-of-the-art lectures, technology updates, new software developments, tips and tricks on the reading technique, based on individual workstations for personalized hands-on training.
This course does not provide credentials for the exercise of medicine for those without appropriate training, recognition and registered at the "Ordem dos Médicos" or international equivalent institutions.
