Introduction

Genetics and molecular biology are fields of biology dedicated to understanding the molecular basis of heredity and gene expression. Researchers in these fields study how genetic information is transferred from one generation to the next and how genes regulate the development, growth, and function of cells and organisms. Recent developments in sequencing technologies and computational biology, and genome editing have revolutionized research in genetics and molecular biology, enabling the rapid analysis of vast amounts of data and uncovering critical genes and pathways involved in health and disease. These breakthroughs have significantly deepened our understanding of the mechanisms driving human diseases and are poised to transform medical care through personalized, host-oriented diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

Participants in this course will explore the complexities of genomic organization, regulation of gene expression, and genetic manipulation, along with their effects on cellular functions. By mastering these concepts and techniques, participants will develop a solid foundation in genetics and molecular biology, equipping them with knowledge on the evolving fields of genetics and molecular biology and their transformative applications.

By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

1. Explain the organization of the human genome;
2. Explain the mechanisms associated to the regulation of gene expression;
3. Assess genetic diversity and genotype-phenotype correlations;
4. Evaluate the techniques for analyzing the structure and expression of genes and genomes;
5. Design experiments based on the concepts of cellular and molecular biology;
6. Design diagnostic and therapeutic approaches based on Genetics and Molecular Biology.

Your registration will be effective after confirmation of the payment. If payment is not made in due time we will have to cancel the registration.

Cancelation and refund policy
