Gastroenterology Department, with a vast clinical, investigational
and educational experience on the field of capsule endoscopy.
- Maximize 3-day hands-on experience: individual workstations
available for the entire training program, software demonstrations
and pre-selected segmented and full videos, with tailored practical
teaching to each attendee, adjusted for previous experience in
capsule endoscopy.
- Embrace real-life clinical cases and develop your skills in the
interpretation and reporting of endoscopic findings, in the setting
of mid-gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease,
polyposis syndromes and celiac disease.
- Get access to state-of-the-art knowledge on small bowel and
colon capsule endoscopy; discover and explore pioneering techniques
such as capsule pan-endoscopy and PillCam Crohn’s.
- Certification is granted by the School of Medicine of University
of Minho and the Gastroenterology Department of Hospital da
Senhora da Oliveira - Guimarães, an approved Training Centre of
the European Board of Gastroenterology & Hepatology.
