The international programme of advanced courses aims at giving information and pioneer training in the areas of medicine and biomedicine, through short courses and workshops. These focus on current topics, from basic sciences to the most up-to-date clinical applications/interventions. They are aimed at doctors and other health professionals, as well as at biomedical and medical researchers. These are very international courses, not only due the lecturers but also to the participants (more than 1000 per year), and the evaluation has been remarkable. Some of these courses may be chosen as part of the Master and PhD programs.
